As of July 16, consumers can access speedy mobile broadband connections on StarHub's upgraded network By Zafar Anjum

SINGAPORE, 16 JULY 2009 – Singapore-based telco StarHub is offering consumers in the country the island's fastest mobile broadband connection nationwide from today (16 July).

The telco is the first commercial HSPA+ service provider on its recently upgraded HSPA+ network and devices provided by Huawei, claimed Starhub.

“Branded as MaxMobile Elite, StarHub's HSPA+ service offers download speeds up to 21Mbps nationwide, providing true mobility and unparalleled performance to customers in Internet access on the go,” the telecom company said.

The trials for this service were ongoing since May and June 2009.

“Following the successful customer trial,  StarHub is proud to be at the forefront of mobile broadband in Singapore and launch MaxMobile Elite, the fastest mobile broadband service powered by HSPA+,” said Chan Kin Hung, StarHub's head of products and solutions.

Starting today, customers can subscribe to MaxMobile Elite by visiting any StarHub Shops and Exclusive Partners’ outlet.
