What are the MIS Asia IT Excellence Awards?

The MIS Asia IT Excellence Awards are organised annually by MIS Asia magazine. 2009 is the lucky seventh year of the event, which recognises IT organisations and CIOs for management excellence and for the original and creative use of technology to help attain business goals.

Since they were launched in 2003, the response to the awards has been overwhelming.

Past award winners include Central Provident Fund Board Singapore, National University of Singapore, Malaysia’s CIMB Bank, Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority, Standard Chartered Bank (Thailand), India’s Tata Steel and China Minsheng Bank.

The 2009 MIS Asia IT Excellence Awards winners was celebrated and presented with the trophies at the recent annual MIS Asia IT Summit & IT Excellence Awards ceremony on 24 July 2009. These winning organisations will be further featured in the September 2009 MIS 100 annual issue together with the coverage of the summit & awards ceremony.
