KUALA LUMPUR, 10 MARCH 2009 – The acquisition of Orisoft Technology (Malaysia) will strengthen our HRM offerings in Asia Pacific, says Netherlands-based business software firm Exact Software.
Exact Software chief executive officer Raj Patel says that this acquisition will accelerate Exact’s expansion in the region: “Adding Orisoft’s HRM (human resource management) platform will further strengthen Exact’s business empowerment software portfolio.“
Established in 1990, Orisoft has offices in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Bangkok, Thailand. Its solution portfolio is built around human resources and comprises software solutions for human resource management, time and attendance management, payroll administration and employee self service.
Cross-sell opportunities
Patel said that Orisoft would benefit from Exact’s financial strength and geographic footprint in Asia: “Complementary product offerings will provide cross-sell opportunities on both sides and provide a platform to accelerate growth of Exact Synergy in Asia.“
Orisoft Technology chief executive officer Tan Yeong Kim said, “The cross-sell opportunities are indeed significant and we believe that a number of our customers could benefit from the Exact Synergy platform.”
