Biz 2400 family of headsets aimed at contact centres, office workers By Melissa Chua

SINGAPORE, 29 MAY 2009—Denmark-based headset developer and manufacturer GN Netcom has released a family of headsets aimed at contact centre agents and enterprise office workers.

JabraThe series of headsets, named Jabra Biz 2400, were designed and manufactured in response to findings from GN Netcom’s survey, which provided close looks at how enterprise workers typically ‘used or abused’ their headsets, said Henrik Brodersen, global product manager, GN Netcom.

Standard features of the Jabra Biz 2400 series include:

•    Gold plated microphone contacts

•    Neodymium speakers

•    Surgical steel finish

•    Kevlar-reinforced cord to resist damage and kinking

•    360-degree rotation capable microphone

•    Full three-year warranty

The family of headsets can be grouped into three versions: Jabra Biz 2400, for use with conventional desk phones; Jabra Biz 2400 IP, for IP telephony systems; and, Jabra Biz 2400 USB, for PC-based IP telephony.

Select models contain features such as: three different wearing styles (earhook, headband, neckband), noise-cancelling microphones and Bluetooth connectivity.

A total of 11 different headset models from the Jabra Biz 2400 family are currently available in the Asia Pacific. Prices start from S$200 (US$138). The series is distributed in Singapore by Dacon Networks and Digiphonic Systems.
