HONG KONG, 4 FEBRUARY 2009 – Jardine OneSolution Hong Kong (JOS) today announced the acquisition of Agilysys Hong Kong’s businesses contracts related to hardware sales and systems integration.

JOS provides IT product distributors and service support for Asia, while Agilysys Hong Kong (AGSHK), a subsidiary of the US-based Agilysys, specialises in the provision of IT solutions for government agencies and businesses.

Following the agreement, JOS will incorporate all staff involved in this business from AGSHK into its systems integration & provisioning business to expanding its capabilities in the provision of enterprise infrastructure, solutions and services. The initial focus of the new team will be on mid-range servers and related infrastructure hardware and software products.

In the longer term, JOS says the acquisition will turn AGSHK into a robust enterprise infrastructure business in the coming years.
