HONG KONG, 19 NOVEMBER 2008 – Lenovo has just signed a services contract with Orange Business Service to optimise its network performance.

According to Lenovo, the US-based personal computer manufacturer, the new service is expected to help increase its network manageability, application performance and employees’ productivity.

“The combination of services and technology from Orange Business Services helps to enable our global sales team to focus on our customers' needs by launching services faster and more efficiently,” said Lynn Lin, executive director, global infrastructure service, Lenovo.

Lenovo’s global sales team in 13 countries will be connected by Orange’s Business Acceleration, a suite of business services that improves the performance of applications through an optimised global communications infrastructure.

Under the agreement, Lenovo will also be able to maximise its global multi protocol label switching-based virtual private network performance with Orange Business Services’ solution and technical support.
