KUALA LUMPUR, 8 APRIL 2009 – Malaysian mobile provider Maxis Communications (Maxis) has opened pre-booking for the newest device from RIM, the BlackBerry Storm.
Maxis chief marketing officer, Matthew Willsher, said: “The BlackBerry Storm, which features the world’s first ‘clickable’ touch screen, can be pre-booked from now till 24 April.”
“Maxis is investing nearly US$447 million in our networks this year,” said Willsher. “In the coming months, we will continue a comprehensive upgrade and expansion programme that will further enhance coverage and performance, including our high-speed 3G data network. Maxis customers of BlackBerry Storm will benefit from our reliable high-speed networks for rich Internet browsing and multimedia applications.
Designed to satisfy the needs of both consumers and business customers, the BlackBerry Storm has a three-pronged advantage.
