Will raise security awareness, says company By AvantiKumar

KUALA LUMPUR, 22 JANUARY 2009 –Malaysian managed security services firm e-Cop Surveillance has appointed Jason Yuen as its new general manager.

According to the company, Yuen, who assumed his role last year, would help elevate the field of information security in the country.

e-Cop, which has business presence in more than 20 countries, offers managed risk and information security services to business enterprises and governments, which includes a suite of services to identify and deal effectively with threats and risks related to information security management.  

Confidence in the face of downturn

Prior to joining e-Cop, Yuen has held senior positions at companies that include Deloitte, Microsoft Malaysia, Ernst & Young, and Arthur Andersen,

“In spite of the current economic situation, we continue to be very confident that we will be able to show strong double digit growth in 2009,” said Yuen. “Our client reach and unique value-proposition as the most complete information security solution provider in the region offering managed security, assessment and consulting services as well as solution implementation puts us in a strong position moving forward.”
