Haren Samarasekera, regional marketing director, Lawson Asia-Pacific & Japan

SINGAPORE, 28 OCTOBER 2009—Lawson Asia-Pacific & Japan has announced the appointment of its new regional marketing director, Haren Samarasekera, who brings the 14 years of business software sales and marketing experience and expertise under his belt to the job.

Working alongside Lawson's global marketing organisation, Samarasekera is leading the company's strategic marketing initiatives in Asia, and reports directly to David Hope, Lawson's regional managing director and general manager.

Samarasekera's previous positions include stints as director at SalesEdge Consulting, APAC sales director at First Advantage, and Asia-Pacific director of sales and marketing at IFS Solutions.
