SINGAPORE, 18 NOVEMBER 2008 –Global online payment service PayPal has launched a new fully localised PayPal site in Singapore with features designed for Singapore users.

According to the company, its new Singapore site (www.paypal.com.sg) offers content and payment options customised for account holders in Singapore.

The specific offerings include a new ‘Top Up’ feature, giving Singapore users a new way to pay for items using their bank account, according to PayPal.

PayPal.com.sg is also fully integrated on eBay Singapore (www.ebay.com.sg), making buying and selling on eBay even safer and more convenient for Singapore users, said a PayPal source.

PayPal enables payments in 18 currencies outside China including Hong Kong, Singapore, US, Australian and Canadian dollars, Euros, Japanese yen and UK pound sterling, among others.
