17 Nov 2008

SINGAPORE, 17 NOVEMBER 2008 - Two study awards to encourage the development of hospitality IT talent will soon be available in Singapore. They are sponsored by The Hospitality Financial and Technology Professional (HFTP) Asia chapter, a non-profit organisation.

The Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore will support this course under the Techno Strategist Programme training grant where a Singaporean can qualify for 50 per cent subsidy.

The Certificate of Performance in Hospitality IT course will be launched in January 2009.

The HFTP administers the examination and awards the certification for the Certified Hospitality Accountant Executive (CHAE) and the Certified Hospitality Technology Professional (CHTP) designations.

The association hosts a series of awards each year to honour outstanding individuals.
