28 Sep 2009

SINGAPORE, 28 SEPTEMBER 2009 – SingTel Alatum, Singapore Telecom’s “in-the-cloud” commercial grid computing solution provider, has selected BoxSentry as its exclusive provider of e-mail security solutions across the Asia Pacific.

BoxSentry is a Singapore-headquartered e-mail integrity solutions provider.

“We selected BoxSentry to be our exclusive e-mail security partner due to its innovative sender reputation and authentication technologies, as well as the true multi-tenant capability of its solution,” said Alvin Kok, chief, Alatum, SingTel.

According to BoxSentry, its unique approach in using sender authentication and reputation technologies provides security and delivery protection for both inbound and outbound communications.

Companies such as SAFRA Radio are already using BoxSentry’s e-mail security solutions via the cloud without the need for large infrastructure investments.

“In the past, there were numerous instances where critical e-mails were not received at our end,” said George Ang, head of department (technical), SAFRA Radio. “With SingTel Alatum and BoxSentry’s BusinessSafe solution, we are now confident that we are receiving all legitimate e-mail communications and our outbound e-mails are reaching their destination reliably.”
