KUALA LUMPUR, 4 SEPTEMBER 2008 - Technology companies HP and AMD have joined forces to offer a Malaysian scholarship programme, which includes notebook PCs as well as cash support.
Called the HP & AMD Scholarship 2008 programme, the package is worth RM75,000 (US$22,000), inclusive of cash and three HP Pavilion tx2520au Entertainment Notebook PCs, powered by the AMD platform, for a total of three eligible undergraduate and post-graduate students to further pursue their studies.
According to the companies, the programme is non-bonding and open to all Malaysian citizens aged 30 years and younger who are pursuing their degree or Masters courses locally.
Candidates need to log on to www.hp.com.my/scholarship to complete the submission form and answer a question creatively in no more than 150 words.
The scholarship application period began from August 11 until September 30.
