SINGAPORE, 08 JUNE 2009 – When the 49-hectare family holiday getaway Resorts World at Sentosa island, Singapore, opens its doors next year, visitors should not be surprised to see resort staff working on Lenovo machines.

The PC and server manufacturer has won a deal to supply the resort with more than 3,000 desktops and notebooks over the next three years. The deployment, which started in April, concerns three models of PCs—the ThinkCentre M57e desktops and ThinkPad X200 and R400 notebooks.

“We’re very pleased to be working with Resorts World at Sentosa and are confident that our Think range of products will be able to provide seamless support along with operational integration for Resorts World at Sentosa,” said Ronnie Lee, Singapore country general manager, Lenovo.

The Lenovo products are expected to be used in the resort’s offices, reception, video gaming and Internet surfing areas.

“We look forward to achieving greater efficiencies across our operations with this deployment of Lenovo PCs, as we work towards our opening early next year,” said Yap Chee Yuen, senior vice president, information technology, Resorts World at Sentosa.
