G&D Integrated revamps internal IT systems with Ramco’s ERP for logistics suite

The system enables the logistics company’s clients to see the same real-time data as they do.

Transportation and logistics provider G&D Integrated will be embarking on an enterprise-wide technology revamp with Ramco System's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for Logistics Suite.

Ramco's Logistics ERP Suite covers finance and accounting, customer management, supply chain management and warehouse management in over 20 G&D's facilities spread across North America, the two parties said in a press statement on 10 January 2017.

It is an integrated cloud-based platform designed for third party logistics, freight forwarders, and parcel/courier service providers. It links every stage of a logistics chain and brings all the functionalities under a single technology platform, which is scalable, flexible and ready to adapt to changes.

"We were looking for an integrated technology solution that upgrades and improves our internal information technology (IT) systems while also providing better access to data for our customers, so that our customers see the same real-time data as we do," said Les Nelson, Chief Finance Officer, G&D Integrated.

"We chose Ramco ERP for Logistics because it provides a comprehensive suite on a unified technology platform with ample innovation and a simplified user experience. With Ramco, we will have a sound technology backbone to support out aggressive growth plans," he added.
