Picture this in Singapore
Japanese imaging and printing solutions provider Konica Minolta Business Solutions Asia celebrated the opening of its regional office in Singapore barely three months after its announcement as regional headquarters.
The new premises was declared open by Jun Haraguchi, executive director of Konica Minolta Business Technologies, Japan.
"Today epitomises Konica Minolta's goals to strengthen our foothold in Southeast Asia," said Ryo Maruhashi, managing director, Konica Minolta. "The Business Development and Regional Operations teams are geared to help accelerate market penetration, and support our expansion in the Southeast Asia market."
According to a statement issued by the imaging company, it is poised for strong growth in the region and is projected to double its revenue by 2016.
"The Regional team will manage, supervise and support the sales subsidiaries and distributors in Southeast Asia," said Jun Haraguchi, "Customers can expect faster turn-around response and value-added services, thus enriching their Konica Minolta experience and increasing our presence in the local markets."
"The newly opened concept showroom in the premises features innovative solutions in office and production printing," said a Konika Minolta spokesperson. "It provides realistic simulation of a production printing environment with the applications of production printers and post-processors. Customers will be able to witness the
lifecycle of the print production from submission, pre-press, printing to finishing in the Digital Imaging Square."
