Canon Singapore has appointed Lim Kok Hin as the head of Domestic Business Operations of Canon Singapore with immediate effect, announced the imaging solutions company today.

Lim will be responsible for the overall leadership, growth and strategy of the domestic operations in Canon Singapore where he is in charge of both the Consumer Imaging & Information Products (CII) and Business Imaging Solutions (BIS) groups, said the company in a statement. 

He will report to Kensaku Konishi, president and CEO, Canon Singapore.

Lim first joined the company as a copier salesman in the Malaysia office in 1987 and has since held key management positions at the company, including leading the Canon business imaging solutions operation in Malaysia for 16 years. Subsequently, he became the senior director, BIS at Canon Singapore. In 2011, he was promoted to the position of vice president South and Southeast Asia, BIS Group.

"Imaging solutions have finally come into their own as crucial must-have items both in the home and at the office," said Lim. "These are exciting times for Canon as we continually push the boundaries to deliver innovative products and value-added services to our customers in Singapore, one of the most technologically advanced markets in the world."
