Google Pixel Fall Launch event: Everything Google announced today

Google just held an event today to unveil the new Pixel phone, but the company ended up doing more than that. Yes, Google is releasing the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro — and it has been unabashedly sharing some details in the months leading up to the event. However, there are also reports that Google may introduce a Pixel Fold, a Pixel Watch, and a new Pixel Pass service. These reports turned out to be only partially true. There was no Pixel Fold or Pixel Watch at the time, but Google did show off plans for a new Pixel Pass today.
Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro
The stars of the show were the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. The 128GB Pixel 6 starts at $599, and the 128GB Pixel 6 Pro starts at $899.That means Google's new phone will be more affordable than other flagship phones like the iPhone 13.
Google has large 6.4-inch and 6.7-inch screens respectively, an advanced camera system, a tensor chip designed for AI/machine learning, and funky colors that rely to some extent on the strength of its hardware, unlike last year's Pixel 5.
Google and carriers will start pre-orders on October 19, but you won't be able to get your hands on the phone until October 28.

Google Pixel Pass
Google also launched its first subscription service, called Pixel Pass, for its Pixel phones. It's a product mix similar to Apple's iPhone upgrade program and Apple One service.
It will be an us-only service (at least for now) that will combine YouTube Premium, Google's Play Pass app and games subscription service, Google's Fi Cellular service, Google One, and Pixel phone financing plan.
It will make buying a pixel a little more affordable. For those who plan to use Google Fi, this could be a good deal.
Pixel Stand (2nd gen)
Google will release a later version of the Pixel Stand in 2018, though it didn't mention it directly at the event. The latest Pixel Stand, which costs $79, doubles as a Stand and charger. The Qi charger works with a variety of devices (from Pixel Buds to other phones) and you can use it for video calls, or if you just want to use your phone hands-free. The Pixel Stand turns your Pixel phone into a smart home controller, letting you adjust lights or focus on the Nest camera.
