Most of the time, large volumes of calcium nitride are available. The company offers a range of products that are used in hydrogen storage research and for advanced fuel cells and battery applications. Hydrogen, the most abundant element of the universe, is produced by renewable energy sources. Hydrogen is produced by a number of different sources, including water, solid fuels, and renewable resources. Hydrogen will not emit any pollutants and when used, it will produce harmless water. The development of safe and compact hydrogen storage and transmission technologies is a challenge for the use of hydrogen as an alternative energy source. Hydrogen is currently stored in liquid, compressed, or chemical form. Consider high-purity, submicron or Nanopowder.
Calcium nitride
The main raw material of high-end fluorescent phosphors. This phosphor performs better, is more stable and has better effects in high temperatures and humidity. The final but not the least, calcium-nitride, can also be used chemically as a treatment agent. This is key in determining the performance and quality of water-based clay.

How is Calcium Nitride Made?
When calcium is burned in the air it produces Ca3N2 and the oxide CaO. The distilled fibrous metal calcium is heated at 450degC with a pure nitrogen stream. After 3-4 hours, the metallic calcium will nitride into calcium nitride.
According to the preparation temperature, calcium nitride obtained is either black at 350degC (or milky white between 350 and 1150degC) or golden yellow above 1150degC. Calcium nitride can be easily identified because it can react to moisture or water, producing calcium hydroxide and a ammonia.
Calcium Nitride uses:
Calcium hydride can be made by heating calcium-nitride and hydrogen above 350 degrees Celsius.
Calcium Nitride Ca3N2 Powder Product Performance:
Ca3N2 Powder is high-purity and has a uniform particle size distribution.
Calcium nitride hydrolyzes to give calcium hydroxide and release ammonia, it dissolves in dilute acids and decomposes in alcohol.
