What is Sodium oleate?
Sodium oleate, alies sodium octadecenoate, Cis-9-octadecenool, oleol, Olive oil alcohol, Cis-9-octadecenool, 9-n-octadecenool, octadecenool. It is a kind of organic oil and its chemical formula is C17H33CO2Na. It is slightly yellow powder or light brown-yellow coarse powder, with special taste and smell, melting point 232~235 can be foaming and dissolved in water, alkaline soluble in ethanol, neutral insoluble in benzene. Oleate is the main ingredient of olive oil made of soap, is also the main component of tallow soap, can also be made from sodium hydroxide and oleic acid reaction.
