About Bismuth Bi powder:
Bismuth when fresh produced is a silvery, crystallized, and brittle metallic that often gives off a pinkish hue in the atmosphere. Bismuth is the most diamagnetic metal, with a thermal conductivity that is lower than mercury. It is very resistant to electrical current and has the highest Hall coefficient.
Bismuth dust is an spherical type of metal nanoparticle. It comes in colors ranging from dark gray to black, depending on its size.
It exhibits a very high electrical resistance. Also, it has the largest Hall effect of all metals (i.e. the greatest rise in electrical resistance when the material is placed in magnetic fields). Bismuth can be dissolved in concentrated nitric oxygen, and is therefore stable to both water and oxygen. Bismuth salts all form insoluble compounds when they are added to water.

Bismuthimite, bismite, and cobalt are the two most important bismuth ores. Bismuth can occur naturally in the metal and as crystals within the sulfide ores nickel, cobalt silver, and tin. Bismuth is most commonly produced by lead and copper melting, particularly in the USA. Bolivia, Peru’ and Mexico are the main areas that it is mined. But, only 3.000 tonnes of this metal can be produced annually. It is impossible to know how much bismuth there is, though it appears unlikely that this metal will run out.

For bismuth powder production, it is better to use freshly prepared A-Bi2O3 at 270°C. To do this, you will need to reduce the mixture with molecular and atomic hydrogen. A reduction reaction between a-Bi2O3 and a-3-Bi took place, without any intermediate phase.
Bismuth powder may also be produced using such methods as mechanical comminution and electrolysis at high current densities of nitrate or sulfate solution, electrolysis with methyl alcohol and glacial acid of BiCl3; electrolysis with BiBr3 in A1Cl3 molten A1Cl3; reduction of aqueous solutions in bismuth sodium salts by various agents, cathodic reductions of bismuth dioxide
Bismuth powder Uses:
Bismuth Powder is for the preparation of pressed or bonded targets. It can also be used in Chemical Vapor Deposition(CVD) as well as Physical Vapor Depositions (PVD), including Low-Temperature Organic Evaporation and Atomic Layer Depositions (ALD), Metallic-Organic (MOCVD) and Chemical Vapor Depositions (MOCVD). High-surface area powders can also be used in applications such as water treatment, fuel cell or solar applications.
Bismuth material is used to make low melting solders, fusible alloys and bird shot as well low-toxicity fishing sinkers. Bismuth compounds may also be used to make pharmaceuticals. Industry uses bismuth compounds to create catalysts when producing acrylonitrile. It is used as the base material for rubbers and synthetic fibers.
Bismuth dust can also be used to lubricate the surface. By adding 0.1- 0.3% of bi nanoparticles to the grease, it will make a selflubricating, self laminating layer to protect and improve the performance.
Bismuth dust may be used in the metalurgical industry. They can be added to cast iron, steel, and aluminum alloys, which will improve its cutting performance.
Bismuth dustcan also be used as magnetic material. The thermal neutron-absorption cross-section of bismuth is smaller, the melting point is lower, and boiling point are higher, making it a heat transfer medium in a nuclear reactor.
Bismuth Powder Storage Conditions:
A damp reunion could affect Bi powder’s dispersion and use performance. Bismuth Bi should be stored in vacuum bags and kept dry. Bismuth Bi must not be exposed to the air. Additionally, it is important to avoid stressing the Bi powder.
Packing & Shipping Bismuth Bi-Powder:
There are many options for packaging, which depend on the Bismuth Bi Powder quantity.
Bismuth Bi powder packaging:vacuum packed, 100g to 500g or 1kg/bag at 25kg/barrel. Or as you request.
Bismuth Bi-powder shipping: can be shipped by sea, air, or express as soon after payment receipt.
