MoN. MoN is hard, refractory and does not dissolve in water. Molybdenum forms three different nitride compound types: MoN, MoN, and MoxN. MoN (s), MoN (b) and MoxN(g) are two stable nitride substances. MoN can be described as a hexagonal, lattice-structured compound with A =0.286 and C =0.2804 respectively. Mon’s melting point is 1750. It has 9.2g/cm3. The 12K temperature makes it a superconductor.
