What is boron nitride?

Properties of boron nitride
High heat resistance. Hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) will sublimate only when heated to 3000℃ in 0.1Mpa nitrogen, and its strength is twice that of room temperature at 1800℃. Therefore, it has excellent thermal shock resistance and will not break even when air cooled to room temperature at 1500℃ dozens of times—high thermal conductivity. The thermal conductivity of hexagonal boron nitride products is about 34W/m·k, similar to stainless steel, high thermal conductivity—a low coefficient of expansion. The expansion coefficient of hexagonal boron nitride is (2.0~6.5) *10-6/℃, second only to quartz glass, plus its high thermal conductivity, so the thermal shock resistance is excellent.
