  At present, the mainstream domestic suppliers of high-purity alumina materials include Luoyang Tongrun, Zhejiang Jidun, Tianma New Materials, Xinke Zhonglian, Shanghai Huaming Gona, Lianlian Chemical, Guoci Materials, Qinghai Shengnuo, etc. The leading suppliers of boehmite include Onestone, Chalco Zhengzhou Research Institute, and Tongrun Nano. PVDF mainly relies on imports. The market is still monopolized by foreign companies such as Arkema in France, Solvay in the United States, and Kureha in Japan.

The proportion of boehmite is gradually increasing, and the proportion of ceramic and PVDF mixed coating is gradually increasing. PVDF coated separators are more used in soft pack batteries. Luo Zhang said that although the diaphragm coating process itself is not complicated, the core coating materials and formulations have certain technical thresholds. With the increase in the proportion of coated diaphragms and the growth of diaphragm shipments in the future, the demand for coating materials will also increase.
