Bank Central Asia revamps its website with Sitecore to reach out to more customers

Indonesia's Bank Central Asia (BCA) has revamped its website with Sitecore's solutions to make its website more responsive for mobile device users.

About 60 percent of BCA's customers access its website from mobile devices. However, the bank's legacy content management system did not provide a modern experience for its visitors.

The bank also struggled with lack of in-depth analytics, had little understanding of visitor journeys and was unable to measure effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

To counter those issues, the bank leveraged Sitecore Experience Platform (XP) to manage and deliver content, implemented Sitecore Experience Database (xDB) as its data repository, and used Sitecore Email Experience Manager (EXM) for omnichannel automation. BCA is also using Sitecore EXM that ties into Sitecore xDB to provide targeted email campaigns.

The move enabled BCA to create more effective marketing campaigns, as well as experience a significant increase in visitors accessing its website via mobile devices. The bank was also able to conduct effective promotions across multiple digital channels.

BCA vice president of Digital Marketing Duardi Prihandiko added: "Through Sitecore, we now have a much better understanding of web visitor behavior and interests. We can quickly identify who they are and provide the content they want in real time. Sitecore provides us with unlimited potential to optimise our marketing efforts."
